Advantages: Easy to use, very easy to use.

Disadvantages: Relatively poor picture and sound.

-------------
What is it?
-------------

The product is a DVD Player made by the company "Aitro". Aitro, in my experience, is a completely unknown brand, and doing a Google search for Aitro brings up very little indeed, and certainly no company webiste. I found this DVD player in my local Tesco store for around £15 pounds, and since my previous machine recently broke I purchased it as a replacement, considering I rarely use the TV which it is plugged into anyway I didn't want to waste any money.

-----------------------
What do you get?
-----------------------

For the £15 you get a small (quite frankly cheap looking) DVD remote, the DVD player itself, the lead which connects it to the TV and the power lead too.

-----------------------
How does it look?
-----------------------

The DVD player itself is extremely small, black and very sleek, presumably designed for people with limited space. As I have previously mentioned you also get a remote, which is very small and cheap looking. What's worse is that you can't even programme it using your media remote, as since it is such an unknown brand the code for programming your own remote is known by no-one.

-----------------------------
How does it perform?
-----------------------------

The DVD player is very simple, and has extremely limited features, (by extremely limited I mean all it can do is play DVD's, and that really is it). The picture quality obviously isn't as good as more expensive DVD players or Blu-Ray players, and also the sound tends to be a bit quiet. Another fun feature of this product is the "On" light turns on when the player is actually "Off", and vice versa.

The DVD player is also very easy to set up, it is exactly the same as all of your other appliances, and there are only two wires to worry about.

--------------
Conclusion
--------------

I really would have liked to write more about this product, but because it is so simple there really isn't anything to write, and even trying to research online there is a distinct lack of information. I personally believe that the lack of things to write is this DVD player's main advantage. It is extremely simple to set up, easy to use and very, very affordable. It is the perfect DVD player for use with small TVs in bedrooms etc, however I would advise you to invest some more money in a higher quality DVD player if you watch a lot of DVDs or want your films to be shown in high quality.

Summary: Buy it if you need a cheap solution to a DVD player.
