It is packed with features such as dolby digital surround sound.It has a built in stereo sound output socket for headphoes,and it has 24 bit cables so it can run at breakneck speed.It can also play standard audio cd's as well as dvd-video format dvd's. This Aiwa portable DVD player has a crisp, clear Active Matrix Colour TFT Display which is good for watching movies up close. The built in surround sound speakers are what you would expect from a portable dvd - good, but not great. If you want to watch dvds on your television screen it has S-video and composite video outputs. Unfortunately, there are no component outputs, but few televisions today have component inputs so this isn't that big of a deal.
