The awia xd-dw1 is a top of the range dvd player.Not only does it play dvd's but it plays them onto its own screen,which explains the price tag.

It is packed with features such as dolby digital surround sound.It has a built in stereo sound output socket for headphoes,and it has 24 bit cables so it can run at breakneck speed.It can also play standard audio cd's as well as dvd-video format dvd's.

It is well styled, in that it is small,and lightweight.It is not so small that you cant see the screen,but the screen is actually generously sized and displays the video in vivid colour.

It is easy to control with an easy to set up system and one touch keys that make it simple to use.In addition to this it comes with a remote control so you can sit back and relax whilst watching your dvd.

Although,there are some downsides to it.It has a short battery life which can be annoying if you are in the middle of your favourite film when the power cuts out, but there is a power socket on it so you can charge its batteries whilst watching the film on mains power.

Another bad point about it is that it is very easily damaged because it only has a thin skin,so if you do buy one then make sure you take care when using it.

So in conclusion I would say that it is an origional idea,but is very costly but is a good idea if you do a lot of traveling.
