Advantages: Reliable, cheap, small, easy to use

I bought this because it was what was on the shelf for under £30. I'd had Alba electrical products before and always found they lasted very well and this didn't disappoint. It is a very good value little DVD player. When I bought the box said it was single region, but it is in fact multi-region and will play pretty much anything you put in it. It's very easy to set up and use. It's also a small, slimline design, which is great if you don't have a lot of space. I've had it for five years and never had any problems.
I do have one small criticism - although the slimline design is handy if you're pressed for space, it does mean it doesn't have a display on the front which means that if you stop a DVD and turn off the machine it can be difficult to find your place again, but this is a small preference point rather than a major inconvenience.
