What can I say about this DVD player to do it justice? Well let's get the obvious out the way first, it's cheap, very cheap infact. I bought it a few years ago as my first DVD player, and paid the princely sum of around £18 for it. I am by no means a technical or audio/visual officionado, but I think the picture quality isn't exactly perfect, although for me it did/does the job perfectly, and for the money, you can't go wrong.

Ok so it's cheap... but for the money you get a slimline, fairly attractive looking box that handles every kind of DVD.CD,VCD etc that I have thrown at it. My only criticism would be that the remote control was weak, and was perhaps not as responsive as I would like.

Other than this, it is a fine DVD player that got me through my film degree watching (and reviewing) countless films and television programmes. It now sits nicely on my desk at work where it still gets regular use.

Well done Alba on a cheap and perfectly adequate machine that suited my budget at the time, and is still going strong today!
