This was my first DVD player back when i was a teen. To be honest I only picked this because it was the cheapest in the Argos catalogue! Only about 60euro at time.

It is not that good to look at. Compared to newer DVDs it looks cheap but then again that's exactly what it is. The remote looks outdated also. It has even electrocuted me a few times when I have accidentally touched the steel screws when it was on!

There are really no features with this. It does play CDs though but I have never been able to play DVDs that I have copied from my computer. The same DVDs have worked on friends players so I think mine is just too old. You wouldn't want this if you wanted to watch high definition films or if you want to play DVDs that you have purchased online. It plays DVDs flawlessly and the rewind controls are good but it can be quite noisey if the sound on the tv is low.

If your on a budget i would recommend this player because even though it is limited in well, everything it does last because I have had it for years and never had a need to replace it. For that price it is certainly value for money! If you have a bit extra money to spare I wouldn't get this because you'll only waste your money.
