	Alba DVD-Player DVD 165 ... bought this because it was what was on the shelf for under £30. I d had Alba electrical products before and always found they lasted very well and this didn t disappoint. It is a very good value little DVD player. When I bought the box said it was single region, but it is in fact multi-region and will play pretty much anything you put in it. It s very easy to set up and use. It s also a small, slimline design, which is great if you don t have a lot of space. I ve had it for five years and never had any problems. I do have one small criticism - although the slimline design is handy if you re pressed for space, it does mean it doesn t have a display on the front which me... 	Alba DVD DS-5711 ... they work. The control is sturdy enough and there are no real gripes from me concerning it. So once everything was set up, I had put my DVD in the machine and turned it on using the simple push in button on the front of the machine to the left, you can of course switch from on to standby using the DVD control as well. You are immediately greeted with a blue background screen with the word Alba in the middle whilst the DVD loads. The disc loads up quickly and you can easily skip all the annoying adverts that you get at the beginning of the disc. 	Alba DVD45 Slimline DVD Player - (Silver) ... did/does the job perfectly, and for the money, you can t go wrong. Ok so it s cheap... but for the money you get a slimline, fairly attractive looking box that handles every kind of DVD.CD,VCD etc that I have thrown at it. My only criticism would be that the remote control was weak, and was perhaps not as responsive as I would like. Other than this, it is a fine DVD player that got me through my film degree watching (and reviewing) countless films and television programmes. It now sits nicely on my desk at work where it still gets regular use. Well done Alba on a cheap and perfectly adequate machine that suited my budget at the time, and is still going strong today!...
