Advantages: easy to use, good quality picture, cheap

Disadvantages: screen could do with being a little bigger

My eldest child is a big fan of the simpsons and loves to watch harry potter, due to having a younger child he doesnt get much chance to enjoy the luxuary of sitting and being able to watch things in peace since she loves to turn the tele off.

I purchased this from argos at christmas which was his main presant it was priced up at £50 and I allocate £100 each child at christmas so this was half of his money gone.

I took it out of the box when I got back home to ensure it worked. The instructions were clear to understand with diagrams to help. It came with a charger and a remote control and was smaller than I thought.

It had to be charged for 5 hours so I plugged it in in our bedroom. Later that night when the children were in bed I went to fetch it to try a dvd and put batteries into the remote. I grabbed one of the harry potter dvds that he had had the christmas before and poped it in.

The screen was a bit small but it showed a good picture and the sound was great on it. there are buttons on the base that rewind fastforwad, stop, pause and play. I dont think there is much need for the remote because you cant have the player that far away from you or you wouldnt see it.

This was a good investment for me because my son will go into his bedroom when he wants some quiet time and put a dvd on until he has had enough. This has also come on holiday with us due to having a 4 hour drive it worked out great for him because the time passed so well.

It was good value for money and it doesnt make the dvds stick because it is cheap either. If you do alot of travling with children or have so many people in the house that they often would like quiet time this is great for them to watch there dvds without interfearance.
