Your dvds will love you for buying Bush.

This dvd player was about a couple of years ago to replace a more expensive and compact Phillips model. The Phillips model played one dvd and then refused to play anything else and was returned. This cheaper Bush model was bought so that an aerial could also be bought with the refunded money.

However, this player works like a dream. It has not played up in 10 years and plays almost every format known to disk drives; DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, JPEG. Therefore, the player can play music disks, home made/family movies and also, photos. Team this with a big flatscreen TV and this player can ensure a very cinematic experience of your home videos/photos.

The player has a HDMI and SCART outlet- so it can connect to a range of TVs and other media as well as upscaling your viewing quality to HD (with HDMI cable and HD tv).

Bush DS- A332 from first glance does not look like a cheap player. You will be surprised to discover the player is as smart looking and slim as other players in its range. However, the player is slightly wider than other models and therefore can look a little more 'vintage' because of this.

Nevertheless, the player is excellent value for money (on sale in Argos for just under £28), durable, presentable and most importantly, very very reliable.

      Worth every penny

When on holiday a few years ago my partner purchased this for the holiday flat, the plan was to use it till we was going home then return it and get our money back. However it was such good quality and value we decided to keep it for our spare room at home, plus i didn't fancy having to explain myself and basically lie to have a refund.

It came well packaged with instructions, remote control and a few cables for connecting to the television. The player itself is thin and very lightweight, which was good as it had to fit in our suitcase upon returning home! It was easy to set up, took a couple of minutes and we was ready to watch a film. The sound and picture qaulity is fantastic, very high standards considering such a low price tag. It also looks a lot more expensive then it actually is, i like the little black gloss panel across the front too, helps it to blend in with my flat screen TV and gives the player a more modern feel- which many silver players dont have these days. The fact the majority of the player is silver is an advantage too, the dust doesnt show up so quickly- a bonus if your like me and already have a huge TV that seems to attract dust.

One gripe i did have with the player is that it had a bit of plastic film stuck round the edges of the black panel, it seemed to be stuck in the sides of the player and was very awkward to remove. Was a bit anoying having to spend time scraping it out but it does come out.

Overall i am very happy with my purchase, i would reccomend it to a friend as the price and quality can not be beaten!
