Advantages: plays region one discks, good sound

Disadvantages: quite big

This is a well looked after peice of hardware in my house,because i watch alot of DVD's,I wanted to have a player that could propel the outstanding quality already delivered by the DVD disk.
FEATURES:
This model has been arond for a few months now,yet it's popularity show's no signs of abating.
Perhaps the reason is that Bush has fastioned an excellent value for money player,which will spin imported region one DVD's straight from the box.
The DVD 2004 has a few other interesting trick's up its sleeve too.
If you get bored with your movie's you can allways play its built in games of Tetris and Othello.
It has also been mentioned elswhere that it spins CD-ROM's with MP3 files burned on to them;however i could'nt get this function to work on mine but yet again there was no mention of this feature in the manual.
Other features include zoom,a three scene bookmark for saving your favourite movie moments and a Dolby Digital surround sound output,which i would recommend to anyone.
USER FRIENDLINESS:
The remote control has loads of buttons but they're well labelled,while set-up and operation are fairly intuitive.
The LED screen on the front could do with being slightly larger though.
VERDICT:
Picture and sound are pretty much what you would expect from a sub-2 hundred pound player.
Sound quality is generally very good,better with surround sound though.
Essentially this players forte is its compatibility with region one discs.
If thats important to you,then the competively priced Bush 2004 is an unbeatable package.
