Bush DS-A332

When on holiday a few years ago my partner purchased this for the holiday flat, the plan was to use it till we was going home then return it and get our money back. However it was such good quality and value we decided to keep it for our spare room at home, plus i didn't fancy having to explain myself and basically lie to have a ... refund.
It came well packaged with instructions, remote control and a few cables for connecting to the television. The player itself is thin and very lightweight, which was good as it had to fit in our suitcase upon returning home! It was easy to set up, took a couple of minutes and we was ready to watch a film. The sound and picture qaulity is fantastic, very high standards considering such a low price tag. It also looks a lot more expensive then it actually is, i like the little black gloss panel across the front too, helps it to blend in with my flat screen TV and gives the player a more modern feel- which many silver players dont have these days. The fact the majority of the player is silver is an advantage too, the dust doesnt show up so quickly- a bonus if your like me and already have a huge TV that seems to attract dust.
One gripe i did have with the player is that it had a bit of plastic film stuck round the edges of the black panel, it seemed to be stuck in the sides of the player and was very awkward to remove. Was a bit anoying having to spend time scraping it out but it does come out.
Overall i am very happy with my purchase, i would reccomend it to a friend as the price and quality can not be beaten! Read the complete review |

Bush DVD 2004

A £250 5.1 Dolby Theatre system sounds too good to be true!!!!! We got this from Argos in Nov 2001. First DVD player was dead on arrival. Second one died 9 months later. Screen display flashing continuously and no way to get my treasured DVD out. Taken back to Argos for a full refund and an upgrade to another system. Apart from that the ... system worked well for 9 months. Used daily by a 4 yr old.Picture quality was fine, sound good

Bush DVD 2013

I bought this machine for my sister, hoping to be able to hack it later so I could bring my R1s over for out friday-night movie seshes. One of the major flaws of this machine is the shadows and artifacts displayed in high contrast scenes. It's not a major fault, but it is annoying. For the £99.99 you get a capable ... machine, but the technology inside leaves a lot to be desired. Try playing Shrek on it and you'll see what I mean. The machine struggles so hard even to get the main title up, you'd swear it was sweating! (Also has trouble with the extra features on 'Fast and the Furious') In short, if you're going to buy a budget machine, spend an extra £30 on the next model up, you won't regret it. As for the extra feature written about previously about this machine, sorry, but you'd expect them on the most basic of players, the features indicated are nothing special.
