The CyberHome ADL528 is not one of our newest purchases and certainly not one of the newest DVD players on the market. We have owned this DVD player for around two years now and it is still going strong although the design is quite dated. The shape of this DVD player is very bulky. It is large in width, length and height which are very ... Read the complete review

My boyfriend bought this dvd player a while back, and used it with great satisfaction till it started having its quirks. After about a year of loyal service this player decided to have issues with its power button. Now it takes about 15 minutes of fiddeling before it powers on, and even than the question is if it will work throughout the movie ... Read the complete review

I bought one of these Cyberhome ADL528 players from www.dvdplayers.co.uk in December 2001. It worked wonderfully for about three days and then went crazy - kept bringing up subtitles when I did not want it to, messing up menus and crashing for no good reason. I contacted the seller who would not support the player directly, but fobbed me ... Read the complete review

I bought my ADL-528 from Richer sounds last year. Overall I found it to be a fantastic performer. Not only did it produce wonderful pictures, but the sound which I only had piped through my mini system was good too. In addition to playing DVDs , the unit also copes fabulously with VCDs. I tested it with Alien:Ressurection and the ... Read the complete review

I got an ex-demo model for £80 from Richer Sounds. For a casual movie goer such as me it was easily worth it. Get it out of the box, and the one thing you'll notice that its a bit ugly, but is reassuringly heavy. Plug it in and you'll be set back by the slightly confusing manual, and the messy and unresponsive remote. Its icon ... Read the complete review

As a satisfied video user, I was convicned taht no DVD player would sit under my TV until the price of recordable DVD fell to within my meagre grasp. But the temptation of a multi-region player with 5.1 channel output and all the usual DVD bells and whistles for under £100 plus £10 postage poved too great and I ordered my CyberHome 528. ... I have owned this player for about five months and each time I use it I still wonder how I ended up getting so much player for so little money. This player has features that you would expect to find on the higher end players at a fraction of the cost. The picture quality is superb, the sound is fantastic, it plays mp3 C.Ds, and what I ... This Dvd player must be the bargain of the century. Great value for money (I paid £109.95 online), multi-region capability, excellent sound and picture quality. Very easy to use, remote control is simple to understand. Instruction book is very comprehensive and covers everything satisfactorily. Only downside is that it is quite ... Read the complete review
