Bought this unit for £49.99 at a local WH Smith, in late June, 2003. It is little larger in area than a mouse mat, but does everything that a full-size player does - and some things that they normally don't! In particular, it will play jpegs as a slide show and play mpegs - as well as MP3s! Also, with a few presses of the R/C (be sure to ask the assistant for the photocopied page of instructions re this!) it becomes multi-region - so you can even play imported American disks...
