Model DVD 465 is certified by "DivX Home Theater" and therefore plays all movies compressed with DivX. Beside DivX this DVD player can also handle the Open Source Format "XviD". These both codecs enable to store proximate DVD quality on a conventional blank CD.

With regard to the video outputs this DVD player also leaves nothing to be desired. Beside the Video, S-Video and SCART output it also has an YCC (Progressive Scan) output. This improves the picture quality apparently when used with beamers, plasma and LCD television sets.
