Advantages: Good quality, Cheap, Has all the basic features you need

Disadvantages: Is the best player in the world, Doesnt have many advanced features, Cant handle over-use

This is a low price smooth running dvd machine, it does everything you would need from a dvd player IF you only use it to watch films.
-This was writen for the Grundig GDV210(without the A) so it is a model behind but the features are roughly the same, however the overheating bug seems to have been fixed on the (A) version.
It has all the basic features like, slow motion(in 3 speeds i think) fast motion(in 2 speeds) pause zoom, repeat or playback, search scan track forward surround sound ports mp3 compatible, dobly compatible and all that. It has nothing fancie just for your everyday needs or film watching.
I have had no problems so far and have had the machine for about nine months now so im very pleased, as i only use it at tops 6 times a week i assume that it is made best for the average film watcher who just wants one for when people lend them dvd's or they buy or rent a few, and not the avid film watcher who will own many dvds and watch them over and over.
Suggested for families with children, as the quality of the picture is brilliant to keep your children mesmorised, and the sound quality will captivate them so that you can just sit there without them moaning in your ear.
I paid roughly £200 for the player and i beleive that it is priced at about £149 now, so at that price it is a crude investment for the family and keeps your house up with the technology and doesnt take your bank down with it.

Its a real runner... But my question is, what is going to come next? films on cartrages like the nintendo64 games even faster and possibly better quality who knows.

"Films on cartrages like the Nintendo64"!?!??!?!

I think you're a little confused. In terms of storage space and quality, a cartridge is way down the line when compared to CD's and DVD's. The biggest N64 cartridge can hold almost as much information as a CD. But a DVD disc can hold near enough 8 times as much information as a CD. Sometimes more.
