Picture and Sound quality are about what you'd expect from a £200 player, both PAL and NTSC look great on the 28" Widescreen. I got the Hitachi Dv-p305e initially to compliment my Hitachi Widescreen TV. As i had no problems with the TV, i thought i'd give their DVD player a try. The main plus for me is the fact that the player can be made Multi-Region using the Remote Control supplied, and after a short sequence of button presses... You have a Player that will play all Regions and can even handle RCE. I had no problems with the likes of Hollow Man or The Patriot.
