Very Good Mid-Range Player! (JVC XV 511)
Member Name: bobdabuilder
Advantages: Affordable, Good Playback Quality Disadvantages: Looks Cheap, Too bulky
I recently bought the new JVC DVD Player which is classed in the mid-range of DVD players in comparison to the current market. It has many features and is one of the cheapest players to have dolby digital surround sound software and extensions for great cinema sound. The only drawback I find with this player is the fact that it looks a little bit cheap and nasty in the black colour whereas more upmarket DVD players are a sleek silver or gold colour. If you are dipping your toes into the murky DVD waters then this may be the right choice for you but if you want ultra-high resolution playback and excellent sound extensions then you may want to consider purchasing one of the higher models. All in all, this player has many good features for the price and is very good value for a mid-range player. Summary: |
