DVD Audio offers the 192kHz/24-bit format for the highest fidelity consumers have ever experienced. To make its DVD players compatible with high specs, JVC developed a new version of the exclusive 1-bit P.E.M. D.D. Converter featuring 192kHz/24-bit audio resolution. The improved noise shaper (VANS) is compatible with DVD Audio's super-fidelity format.

For video playback the JVC DVD decks are designed to bring the realism of the movie theatre experience into the home. So the picture they present is as smooth and fine as film, and the sound they deliver is realistically theatre-like.

The XV-FA92 features a high-speed 54MHz video D/A converter that oversamples the video signals to ensure truer-to-the-original images with minimum loss. It incorporates the VFP (Video Fine Processor), a JVC exclusive that allows flexible picture control in the digital domain for highest quality. You can adjust seven parameters - brightness, contrast, etc. - according to your preferences and access four preset positions.

The XV-FA92 comes complete with a Dolby Digital/DTS/MPEG Multichannel decoder for the latest in home cinema sound. Besides 5.1-channel speakers, all you need is a receiver with 5.1-channel power amplifiers. It also offers GUI (Graphical User Interface), which eases operations with on-screen setting and adjustment.

The XV-FA92 provides the convenience of multi-disc play. The deck is a compact, space-saving, 7-disc carousel changer which is no larger than a typical 5-disc player. You can play a mix of seven DVD-A's, DVDs, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, etc., and enjoy superior sound and pictures for hours without interruptions. Its Play & Exchange system lets you change six discs while the seventh is being played, for non-stop audio and video entertainment.

A multi-brand remote control is provided to let you operate TVs from other makers, as well as from JVC. What's more, all new JVC DVD players feature, 'Digest, 'Zoom,' 'Angle List' and 'Strobe' playback functions. Also standard with all new JVC DVD players are optical and coaxial digital outputs for connection of a Dolby Digital/DTS/MPEG Multichannel decoder or a receiver with the decoder built in, making it a snap to upgrade to the latest cinema sound systems.

The 21-pin SCART connector, another feature common to all new JVC DVD models, allows one-touch connection of the player with your TV. What's more, the terminal features an RGB output to provide crisp images and pure colors. S-video and composite terminals are also provided.
