On a computer you can have vidio files so you can put them on a DVD (DVD R) and play them on your DVD player. A DVD/RW is basically a DVD that you can write over and over again on. If you havnt got a DVD player dont worry! Because CD R is a VCD which you can make with a CD burner.

----Introduction + basics ---- Nowadays DVD players are so cheap and so highstore retailers like Currys or Dixons are taking the old VHS players of the shelves and putting better DVD players on. JVC are a company that are cheap and cheerful and this DVD player is no different.
