Blokes. Gadgets. They go together you see, like bread and butter, like Man U supporters and places that aren't Manchester. OK, so you could argue that women and gadgets go together well too, but I'm not even going to get into that conversation? Present a bloke with a brand new gadget and he'll be well chuffed - he'll sit there for hours playing with the features, and still come back for more. In fact, only football and women can possible contend with technology for your average bloke's affections. A few months ago I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new DVD player. Then it arrived and my first impression was that that it looked nice. It is very slimline and has a lovely silvery finish, the remote control has many buttons and I thought it looked complicated. You see I am not very good with machines and working them out. When I opened the user manual I was pleasantly surprised as it was very clear and with good instructions. The first thing to impress me was that as soon as I plugged everything in, it automatically found the viewing channel from my TV. I will now try to explain the features for you.
