Advantages: see op

Disadvantages: none

A few months ago I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new DVD player. Then it arrived and my first impression was that that it looked nice. It is very slimline and has a lovely silvery finish, the remote control has many buttons and I thought it looked complicated. You see I am not very good with machines and working them out. When I opened the user manual I was pleasantly surprised as it was very clear and with good instructions. The first thing to impress me was that as soon as I plugged everything in, it automatically found the viewing channel from my TV. I will now try to explain the features for you.

PICTURE FUNCTIONS

Strobe function enables you to display nine continuous still pictures on the TV screen.

Digest function lets you select your desired selection to be played from the opening scenes displayed on the TV.

Angle function – this allows you to select a particular angle from multiple camera angles shot from your dvd video film disc.

Zoom function that lets you view scenes close up.

Parental lock allows you to restrict playback from films, where scenes are not suitable for children.

Theater position allows you to select the picture according to the lighting in your room.

AUDIO FUNCTIONS

High quality digital sound with Dolby or linear-pcm.
Surround function adds a great affect all around you.
3D phonic function gives you great sound with your 2-channel system.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

Multi-language subtitles and sound, which means you can select from what languages that are on the dvd film.

Multi- disc playback, which enables you to use Audio CD discs, video CD discs and dvd video discs.

I think I have mentioned all the most important features and I can only give you my opinion on what I think above the player. The picture is very sharp and clear, I was amazed with the quality, the sound is also excellent and with the
surround sound it is just like being in the cinema, but much more comfortable curled up on the sofa.

It is so easy to use, if I can do it then anyone can. I purchased mine from my Freeman’s catalogue and only cost £249, which is very reasonable price to pay for all the features it has. I would certainly recommend it for any one that is on a low budget.

Bye from Cinystar
