Who does not love watching films on weekends just to chill after a busy week?. Precisely because of that, a while ago I wanted to get a good dvd player to watch some films I buy or download. And since I do it quite often, using dvds from different sources, I really needed a good player that would accept pretty much any video format and sometimes even music ones to play some songs at home using the home theatre. That is a very important reason why I decided to get this Lg.
The positive things I have to say about this player start with a very convenient price of 40 pounds back then which made it one of the cheaper ones, even being Lg, which to me is a really good company that makes good quality products for every part of the house. The player included a remote control big enough to have all the controls you need when playing a dvd, however, it's not enormous like others from other makes. It also had the a small manual with the basics of what you need, because you can always go to the website if you need more assistance. As one of my interests was the format versatility I made sure it played several and precisely it can play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD, CD, DVD+R DL plus mp3 and wma.
I really like the deisgn. It's really thin and modern looking and it fits perfectly in the cabinet I've got for my TV and doesn't look bulky or offensive at all. I've found it really easy to use even without having to look at the manual and so far it's not played up or skipped a dvd or thrown it back out like my old ones always used to. In short, deciding to buy it was a good choice. I cannot complain about any aspect of it, it still works great and the remote has lasted intact and has good range for accessing the dvd, you neverh ave to get right up close to it because a button won't press.
I'm sure you can buy dirt cheap DVD players but if you want something which looks good and lasts then I would definitely buy this one!
