Hello again, It has been a few days since my last opinion so I thought I would have another go. Well by now you may have realised that I have a bit of a love for films and dvds in particular, hopefully shown by my opinions on some of them. If you haven’t well I do, I love them and I think they are a great way to relax and so forth. I thought I have done enough ops on dvds so I thought it was about time I wrote one on my player: The Matsui 120. I know its not one of the best players on the market but it does its job for me. Currys - I should know better - especially as a Dooyoo user. I went on Saturday armed with my first ever Dooyoo payoff to purchase a DVD player. The only reason I went to Currys, apart from the knowledgable assistants, polite service, and attention to detail which only our favourite retailer could provide, was their unbeatable offer. Buy any DVD player except the Playstation2, and any full priced movie, and pick 4 free DVD films from a list. A guy named Gary, with whom I've dealt before was close by so I asked him the obvious question--is it any good? The reply,"Yes its OK,its got the same insides as my Grundig".Never! I asked to buy one but Gary said he`d only got refurbished stock at the moment, but they are reduced to £110.with a years guarantee. When I ... Read the complete review

THIS WAS THE FIRST DVD I OWNED AND TO THIS DAY ITS DVD FEATURES STILL IMPRESS ME, THE DIGITAL SOUND OUTPUT ALLOWS A CLARITY NOT OBTIANABLE BY THE USE OF PHONE CABLES AND THE SHARPNESS AND STABILITY OF THE PICTURE IS VERY GOOD. WHAT LET THIS PLAYER DOWN FOR ME WAS THE INABILITY TO PLAY COPIED CD, MP3 AND VCD DISKS IT JUST KIND OF REDUCED ITS USEFULNESS AS IT WOULD BE USED FOR PLAYING CDS THROUGH MY 5:1 SYSTEM. THAT ASIDE, IF YOU WANT A DVD PLAYER THAT CAN DELIVER VGOOD PICTURE QUALITY AND PRODUCE CLEAR SOUNDS THEN YOU COULD DO A LOT WORSE THAN THIS PLAYER ... Read the complete review
