My parents bought this dvd player over the christmas period, after I had bought a mass of dvd's and had nothing to watch them on. This was one of the cheaper dvd players I looked at before making a decision and recomending it to my parents. Amazon delivered it within 3 days, and it only took 10 minutes to set it up. Although at first I didn't read the instructions and ended up puttin the scart in the wrong sockets... Since watching over 20 dvd's on it I can say that its a very basic machine that functions as a dvd player perfectly. There are about three times during a movie that the machie will skip and lose .5 of a second of picture, but other than that there are no problems with it. The sound quality is good but is a little quiet. I have to turn the amp and tv volume up to listen. The machine plays VCD's, MP3's DVD's and the packet says it plays some other items which I havent tried yet. The on screen navigation is easy to use and the dvd player setup menus are easy to use, although can be a little confusing. The remote is small and compact and the dvd player its self is sleek and stylish but slightly large compared to the slimline machines available. Overall, It's a good, basic dvd player at a reasonably cheap price.
