Advantages: Price - pay less for a good brand name and a reliable player

Disadvantages: nothing! - Great if you could attach more speakers to it!

Great DVD player and usually found for a great price!
My boyfriend bought me this DVD player a few Christmas's ago, and I love it!
He only bought it as a temporary fix until we could both decide what home cinema to go for. However it did not end up being a temporary fix as I still have it now nearly two years on as it is so fantastic!

The player its self was very easy to set up - one scart to TV and one power lead needed..Done!
Its body is lovely and slim and easy to clean (would recommend a bit of Mr Muscle all purpose spray and a cloth), this DVD player looks great in a bedroom as its pretty slim-line and does not look so invasive.

The player is so easy to use - literally put in a DVD or CD, close and press play! The reliability of this machine is amazing for the price. God knows how is has managed to read some of my DVD's that are so scratched! This machine does not over heat (ever!) which is so refreshing compared to most modern/new DVD players that are coming out. Nothing worse than a DVD player that has over heated, crashes in the middle of the film - or even worse skips all the time!
All round this is a great affordable Philips classic!
