Zmugzy Philips PET830: ... s been scratched so badly that you can t see anything, they ll no doubt be a far superior model on the market. The PET830 comes with a car head-rest mounting kit and I suppose is aimed at keeping the kids quiet and grumpy grand parents occupied during long car trips. Philips claims that this will fit any make of car except a Volvo. In fact there have been recent street demonstrations in Sweden protesting against th...

SticMan Philips DVP5960
... Philips DVP5960 is a top player which will suffice for most people looking for an affordable but advanced DVD player. There is a growing trend for DVD recorders and these will slowly replace VHS Recorders. However this DVD doesn t have the capability and thus is catered to a different market. With Phillips you know you are getting a superior product and it is worth paying the few extra quid rather than a non branded or inferior brand, which through many reviews sometimes cause problems for different people. The best features of this DVD player are: HDMI Upscaling: Basically this gives a high definition view of your current DVD s provided you have a HD television. ...

susie19 Philips PET720
... Christmas brought the addition of a new pet to our household, not of the doggy kind or even the fluffy kind. The new pet was in fact white and shiny and only requires feeding the odd disc and drinks from the mains power supply. Our new pet is a Philips portable DVD player PET720. One of our kids had requested a purple portable DVD player for Christmas, something initially I was not keen on encouraging. There seemed little point since we have a DVD player in the lounge, a PS2 which doubles as a DVD player in the playroom and a built in DVD system in the car. Her reasons for wanting one were mainly that she could watch films in her room when friends came for a sleepov...

Zmugzy Philips DVP5960
... Philips DVP5960 HDMI DVD is a lovely player. It has an attractive slim sleek look about it. It certainly looks the part set up in my ultra stylish pad. It doesn t take up too much space under the TV. I mean, it keeps to itself, it doesn t intrude. It has a laid back kind of a feel, but at the same time fits snuggly into the post modern contemporary setting. Setting it up was very easy, in fact I would even say that it was easy peasy. You just have to plug the cable into TV. If you have a home cinema system then you can attach speakers via inputs at its lovely rear. I simply use the speakers from my TV and the sound quality is just as good as the original TV sound as...
