Overall = 8 An above average player that really set standards back when it was released, I don't think it is available any more though because it has been replaced by the Pioneer DV-515. ...more

This was the first DVD Player I owned. I bought it two years ago and I was very pleased with it. I hadd a few problems, but that was the fault of the people who modified it to play all regions. Picture = 8 The picture quality that this player produces is very clear and crisp. Sound = 9 The sound is equally good, the only problem is because the player was one of the first on the market, there is no DTS output which is really essential for future developments.
