	Pioneer DV 310-K ... decided to get this after seeing how sharp pictures looked in my friend s Pioneer DVD player. And, as far as playing DVDs, this product delivers and amazing picture, although it has to be used with a reasonable quality RGB SCART cable, otherwise it will be all for nowt (and it s amazing how many people don t realise this). When you play DVDs in this way, the picture is very sharp and the colours very vibrant and it s a very, very satisfying view. It looks pretty durable too, and I like the remote as well. However, a completely different story must be told for the other functions of this box - the USB mode and the DivX/MP3 player. If you are using USB sticks with only a ... 	Pioneer DV 626 ... have owned this DVD player for several years, I didnt buy it new but got it second hand via ebay. It is a hifi connoisseurs DVD player, state of the art, and plays DVD video, video cd and normal cd s. Lets just go through a brief description of the 4 types of digital formats available when this machine was created, Dolby digital, DTS, MPEG and linear PCM. This machine has an inbuilt decoder to stream the info contained on the discs to the AV (audio visual) components you are using. Using this machine allows you to enjoy cinematic surround sound from Dolby Digital and DTS audio soundtracks without having to have additional decoding equipment. I have mine attached to a ... 	Pioneer DV 600AV-S ... an average dvd player is an easy task today - even the bargain basement $30 jobs provide acceptable picture quality over component (some even with progressive scan) and digital output for sound. But it takes a fair bit more to get an exceptional dvd player, and the Pioneer DV 600-AVS is one of them. At its core this is a top quality upscaling dvd player. Picture quality is faultless, with excellent component and hdmi output. All the usual adjustments of brightness, color, contrast etc are available. But its in the sound department that this excels over other dvd players. It decodes AC3 but also DTS, so those without a DTS receiver can enjoy the benefits. More im...
