	Pioneer DV 530 ... bought this DVD player about 6 weeks ago after reading an article in What HiFi? which gave the player a rating of 5/5 and commented that it "concentrates on delivering the best sound and picture at the best price". I bought the silver version rather than the black DV-535. Generally I did find that it was about £20 more - however I would say that it is well worth it. Picture The picture quality frankly cannot be faulted. The pictures are crisp and contrast is excellent. The only thing that is I have noticed is compared to some DVD the layer change half way through the film is more noticable that some DVD players that I have seen. Sound Again the sound ... 	Pioneer DV 626 ... have had this product for a year and can not fault the product in any way. The picture quality is true and uninterupted, the remote control is a wonder to use and is of good quality - particularly compared to some of the Sony DVD remotes I have seen and used. The sound output is nothing less than excellent the surround sound capabilities are as good as being in a cinema itself. I have a multi-region version and have been abel to play films from all aorund the world wihtout a problem and all at the same fantastic quality. 	Pioneer DV 525 ... than come with DVD, I did without them before when I watched normal videos. Plus the majour difference you can't record them at a reasonable price like of normal VHS videos. I suppose this it was like when CDs first appeared in the 80s, every thought whats the point. You can't record onto CDs they are expensive and so are the players. Anyway, in the short time I have had my DVD Player it has shown me of the advantages of the format. For a start the picture quality is good for all the DVDs you play, unlike VHS where you have to fiddle around with the tracking.
