Advantages: cheap, stylish, multi disc player

Disadvantages: not muti regional

I desperately need a new DVD player but only had a limited budget as it is close to christmas.
My only criteria was aswell as playing DVD's I also wanted it to be able to play MP3 discs.

It is silver in colour and its slimline casing makes it look very stylish.

The features of this DVD player :-

It plays several disc formats, DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3.
For those who arent quite up to date with the technical terms, CD-R and CD-RW are the discs you can write yourself on your pc and MP3 is a formatt where you write music on a disc as data so you can get much more on a disc ( I got 6 albums on mine)

Dolby digital / DTS digital optical output. This makes the DVD's sound as if you were at a cinema. The sound is much better and the picture is much clearer.

Virtual surround sound.


It comes with the instruction manual which gives you step by step guides on how to connect it to your tv. It also tells you how to connect to your stereo for extra sound.

I am impressed with this dvd player as when you insert a disc it automatically detects which kind it is and plays which means you dont have to fiddle around with the remote control for hours before you can watch or listen.

With DVD players you get what you pay for. With other models you may get added extra's such as, extra speakers, free DVD's or a multi regional disk player which means you can play discs from America and other countries but for a no frills DVD that does its job this is great.
