Advantages: cheap, multi-region, plays some pc media
Disadvantages: clunky, cannot watch any other channel if switched on
Just bought this yesterday, and it is smart. Maybe a little clunky when for example choosing next chapter or from play to ff. But overall for the cost its great. PLUS its multi region and also covers a fair bit of PC software, jpeg, mpeg and such, anyway you know that, its in the description, but had to re-inforce those points. What you don't know about it, that will make your jaws drop....in Currys it's £38... There you have it, a great excuse for getting a spare, cheap, good DVD player for the bedroom. With a years warranty. No I have no association with either the DVD or Currys, just a very happy customer. Sorry dooyoo, but that's got to be a tough price to beat. oh, one other thing I plugged mine in on scart, and when I switch it on it remains on, say bbc1 channel but shows the welcome screen, but continues with the sound of the channel I am on. You have to turn the tv to the correct channel for a proper picture. No great problem, because it remains switched off until I need it, and then choose the AV channel when I turn it on. Hope it has a decent lifespan.

- 28/08/03 Hiya and welcome to dooyoo ;)
Not a bad first review, but could do with a bit more detail. Try and have a read around the site to get an idea of the level of detail people expect.
Hope you have fun here ;)
