Advantages: Fast and easy to use.

Disadvantages: Sound quality.

This CD and DVD player is easy to use and to set up; it starts playing automatically when you insert media and you can operate the standard DVD menu.
The loading time is short for disks but memory sticks take longer to set up than an MP3 player.
The box doesn't contain head phones but there is a standard socket and it works fine with my MP3 player's set.
Sound quality is not brilliant over the built in speakers but you don't really notice when using head phones or when the volume is low.
The picture quality is good but the screen is small.
You can play music from your computer by memory stick but this takes a while and with the poor sound and cumbersome design this is not an attractive use.
As portable DVD players go this is quite good but they need to get better and cheaper before I would consider any one of them worth the money.

Summary: OK for a portable player but the whole sector needs to improve.
