Having owned this player for just under a year now, I have decided to write a review that it truly deserves. I'll be honest, at the time of buying I knew very little about set top players. All I knew was that anything must be better than watching my small DVD collection on my tiny pc monitor, complete with poor lip sync and poor sound. I picked up a copy of DVD Review, flicked through the pages to the back and looked at the hardware. There in their listings was what I now come to believe to be my greatest home theatre purchase to date. I chose this particular player because it got a perfect score. A 10/10. Sony DVP S735D DVD Player ------------------------- This has got to be the best DVD Player in the market today. It has a full aluminium casing and very pleasing to the eye and as my friends say “sexy” I used to have an old Panasonic Compact model and just purchased this one last week at PDS440.00. I thought I’d wait about a week before I gave my opinion on it. I was sorry to see that there were no opinions on the 735. Admittedly I have not had it long, but I am so glad I spent the extra to get it. The Magic Pad on screen set up facilty is great. The picture is out of this world and the sound is unbelievable. The components inside are of impeccable quality and the connections are gold, i.e gold connection for headphone and it comes supplied with a gold connection lead. It costs a bit more that the other Sony models, but as they say - you get what you pay for.
