Advantages: Top kit for little cash.

Disadvantages: Now superceded by slimmer 335 model.

After owning my 325 for almost 12 months, I simply cannot fault it. While it lacks a Dolby Digital/DTS built-in decoder, this is not a problem for those who own an AV amp which supports 5.1 sound.

Picture quality is unrivalled on similar players under £400, whereas sound quality is mind-blowing when used in conjunction with a 5.1 channel amp, although the sound is slightly compromised when playing audio CD's.

Reliability has been excellent, with no problems encountered as yet.

Connecting the player to your current system could not possibly be any simpler. Scart lead (RGB supported) from the player to your TV; plug it into the mains and away you go! Digital sound is output via either optical or digital co-axial from the player to amplifier.

All in all, it's a Sony, it's cheap and it's awesome!
