My reasons for buying a Sony DVD player are simple 1. All my previous Sony products have been flawless (Trinitron TV, Discman, CD player, cordless phone). 2. From all the available information I have, Sony has been the best for playing all kinds of DVD's without problems and that was what really sealed the deal. If you run into a problem like this 30 days after you buy the player you are for the most part out of luck. Hot off the assembly line comes the Sony DVP-S360. While in my local audio and video shop I stop I noticed a movie playing on a big screen television. It was the Matrix and this time I was simply amazed by the stunning images and sound. I am a true fan when it comes to Sony and their products. They always manage to create award winning audio and video products, i.e. the Sony Playstation. This time however their superb quality comes in the form of a truly incredible DVD player that has the capability to bring movies to life. I am a true believer in Sony and they have never failed to give the consumer high caliber products at affordable prices. The ... Read the complete review

I have recently been researching for a purchase of a DVD player and a VHS VCR. In the course of my research, I accidentally stumbled upon a UK based website detailing problems with this particular DVD player. The website (reviewcentre) has a similar format to dooyoo, whereby people write their own opinions through personal experiences and seek advice. So, whilst this is not my personal experience, I feel justified in bringing the experiences of others to your attention. The problem appears to relate to an error code "c 13:00" - "No disk error" - that only starts to appear once the player is about 13-14 months old, i.e. just ... Read the complete review
