Sony DVP PQ1:
... bed, after a nice relaxing bath, and watching a film before drifting off into seamless sleep. For this to be an option you will obviously need a DVD player in your bedroom, bearing in mind the rubbish they put on TV these days. I was delighted when we came across the Sony PQ1 on a pallet of goods brought from eBay. THE DESIGN Instead of being the usual boring brick shape that DVD players come in, this is intended... In fact, since almost all DVD owners also have a video as well, it makes sense for DVD hardware to be as ... overall rating |

Sony DVP NS92V/B ... player from Sony delivering optimum picture quality and great sound. I own this model in Silver and it is well matched with my Sony 40" LCD V series TV. The HDMI interface is a welcome addition and helps to produce the results seen from this player. The upscaling definitely works and is an improvement over earlier players from other manufacturers like Samsung. I would definitely recommend this player to any prospective buyers as a serious consideration.... Read the full review: Another great DVD player from Sony by Dale Barker |

Sony DVP NS355/S ... ========== I’d delayed getting a DVD player for as long as possible because I thought the price would come down as they became more popular. In addition, the increasing popularity of DVDs meant that videos were really cheap so I made the most of the cheap videos. Unfortunately, with the rise of DVDs, it became much harder to get hold of videos so I finally decided that maybe it was worth getting one. As we were getting married, we decided it made sense to put it on our wedding list rather than buy it ourselves. I therefore cannot comment on the price as I do not know how much it was. For those of you who don’t yet have a DVD player, there are many advant... Read the full review: Sony DVD is the one for me by susancarter |
