Advantages: Plays vcds mp3 well, picture and sound superb, looks expensive

Disadvantages: no proper scart socket only a composite one

Bought my dth210e for £80 from currys. I wanted a dvd player that was cheap but played the vast majority of discs available. I dont buy region 1 discs so that wasnt a selling point for me and i dont know if it will actually play them. The image quality is spot on. The sound is very good for a non 5.1 system but i do have it going through a good amplifier. It plays vcds without any arguments. It can skip once in a while (by once in a while i mean 3 times in 6 months). With discs filled with mp3's it has a tendancy to read them in alphabetical order rather than the order they are in on the disc. Overall i am more than pleased with it. for just a little more than the very poor quality players out there ive got one that is on a par with players costing twice as much.
