Advantages: Two disc loading tray

Disadvantages: Small cheap looking remote

Video giant Toshiba is one of DVD's biggest and most successful companies. They have a knack for producing players with superbly crisp pictures. Although sitting next to many other entry level DVD players this one isn't one to be dismissed. There are plenty of gizmos to play with all designed to give you the most of that digital disc.
The build quality of this player is very good, it's solid and the buttons feel like they're made to widthstand "pushing". The looks are quite good, although it looks as though it's made out of plastic that's been painted silver. Then again, "it's what's under the bonnet that counts".
Toshiba make players that are very easy to use, this one is no exception, except for the fact that the romote is very cheap looking. The buttons you're gonna use the most are very small and buried amongst other tiny buttons. On the fascia of the player there isn't much to play with, the only buttons that are there are: Disc 1, Disc 2, open/close and on/off.
There are functions galore here, it has a dual disc DVD mechanism. On the back there is every kind of video out-put thinkable including RGB and composite(for plasma telly). These are all turbo charged with a picture enhancing feature called Anti-Aliasing filter, what change it does i don't know! Sounds alot, i know but there is more. There's an internal 5.1 dolby digital decoder and even has HDCD (high definition compatible digital). There is zoom, angle change, subtitle, 3D sound, random, memory and repeat. All you'll ever need!
Just in case you were expecting a suprise let-down here, don't. The Toshiba is a belting player blessed with one of the best pictures available for it's price. It delivers razor sharp pictures. You owe it to your eyes to watch. There's ample bass and good muscle with action sound tracks.
My verdict is that this player is blindinly good and it does everything
brilliantly. Picture-wise it's outstanding and for the price, well you can't go wrong.

Nice opinion, short but to the point. I've had my eye on this for a while but there is one feature i would love to have that i am not sure this has, the ability to play a CD packed with MP3's, any idea??
