Advantages: Cheap Excellent picture and sound

Disadvantages: feels light to pick up, not the prettiest DVD player.

This is the third DVD player I have owned. it has been made multi region. The first DVD player I owned was One of the First ever sold, the Toshiba 3107, it was magnificent excellent picture, crisp sound, well made, wonderful. But it had to go back to the shop, it was only region 2 and there were about 3 R2 DVDs available and I had them. so I went out with my refund of £320 and bought the now infamous Samsung 807 for £199. It was a bargain, multiregion for less than £200 but it had so many annoynig habits that when Woolworths/samsung gave me the chance to take it back I jumped on it. Then I discovered the Toshiba 2109 I could get one for £235 multiregion (November 1999). It was just as good as the older more expensive 3107 the picture is so rich and clear with vivid colours and the sound is sharp and clear. The Remote control is one of the more different available ( and quite large) but is that much easier to use because of it.

I have never had any disc that will not play in the machine and, unlike the Samsung 807, there are no glitches and the layer changes are unnoticable.

Highly recommeneded
