      Advantages

      Disadvantages

General: The model looks great being in a colour other than Black. It is not oversized or cluttered with buttons on the front. This means that most of the controls, especially the additional features are held within the remote. The Remote: This is quite large, so there is very little chance of using it, but the buttons are positioned comfortably up the handset. Additional features are held beneath a pull down flap. The handset features an illumines glow for the main bank of buttons. They are visible in the darkened room without glowing too brightly, but it is very difficult to see what the buttons are. Connections: The unit features DTS and has jacks at the back to plug surround sound speakers (including centre) direct into the unit. The main problem is the connection to the TV. Most units have a Scart port that can be used, this model features individual Jack's for the sound and picture. This means that you will need to buy an adapter if the TV does not have the same set-up of Jacks. Picture Quality and Sound: The unit produces good picture quality and reading of disks with additional sound options of Dolby Noise Reduction as well as the various Channels. Set-up: The set-up option is easy to use and has clear headings as to what options you can expect within each menu.
