Toshiba SD 280EKTB:
... I discovered that such a cheap dvd player was by such a good brand as Toshiba I could barely believe it. I would have been happy to pay in excess of forty pounds for this player, simply because it works so well. Disks never jump when in use and it is very easy to use. The controls and the remote control are easy to grasp and won t leave you frustrated. It s ready to go straight out of the box and there are... Read the full review: Great DVD player by rxbeef |

Toshiba HD-EP35 ... may seem strange to write a review on an obsolete product that uses an obsolete technology, but if you find one of these players cheaply somewhere then you may like to consider buying one. I had no interest in HD-DVD as a format as I was happily enjoying Blu-Ray on my PS3 and thinking about maybe getting a standalone Blu-Ray player at a later time. Then these players started to become available at lower and lower prices. For around £80 I was lucky enough to pick up one of these with 5 movies. Now you can pick up extra movies for £2.99, including some recent and older classic titles. The picture quality is excellent, the connection is easy via HDMI and possibly the b... Toshiba HD-EP30-K-TE ... the format war for Hi-Def DVD. In one corner you had the HD-DVD, in the other you had Sony s Blu-Ray. Both offer superior picture quality and sound but there was always only going to be one winner. This turned out to be Blu-Ray that left a lot of PS3 owners happy and the adopters of the HD-DVD format in the mire. Well I was one of those in the mire. I decided to treat myself this Christmas to a Toshiba EP-30 player. I had the HD capable tv and decided to see if it was a major difference. I purchased mine from Amazon for about £190 but with vouchers my outlay was less. Part of the attraction was the fact that you were given two dvd s in the box, namely 300 and The Bourn... Toshiba SD 270E ... I shop around a fair bit, searching the internet for a good product at a good price before committing to anything. As it was finally decided that I would be getting a DVD player for Christmas, I gave my parents a list of players that appealed to me, all with one function that was essential. More on that in a little while. So, roll onto the 25th of December and I was fairly happy when I got the Toshiba SD270E as a present. Although, I have to say, I was expecting a Philips player and my initial thoughts were that I would have preferred it; I have bought multiple products from Philips before and know that they are a company of very high standards and quality. None the l... Read the full review: Perfect little player? Well, almost! by MizzMolko |
