Advantages: Plays CDrs and Video CDs and can be made Multiregion!!

Disadvantages: Has some errors with certain DVD titles!

I bought my Wharfedale dvd750 about 9 months ago and it has served me well. It is an incredibly powerful machine. Excellent picture quality and plays practically everything you through at it. Also plays CDr's and will play video cds too.

If you are lucky enough to find a tescos that stock the 750s verison then buy it. It fixes the problems that were in the ordinary 750 version and also tescos are doing a deal at the moment on both the wharfedale 750 and 750s.
The reason that you don't want the standard 750 is that it has problems with some of the DVDs out there such as the Gladiator DVD and the Jaws DVD. The upgraded 750s fixes these problems and alows you MP3 playback whhich is a bonus. One slght problem though with the 750s is that when you are playing audio cds, it always puts in a 2 second audio gap between songs whether the CD has a two second gap or not! But apart from this it is still a great player.

Both can be made into multiregion players by entering a remote control hack that can be found easily enough on the internet.

FEATURES:

Dolby Digital 5.1 And DTS 5.1 Outputs

Plays Ordinary CDs as well as CDRs

Universal switch mode power supply

Full remote control operation

Scart (including RGB), Composite video(phono) & S-Video outputs.

Electrical digital(Coaxial Digital) and optical digital audio outputs.

Analogue Phono Outputs (750 has 2X pairs, 750s has 1X pair)

On Screen Graphical Display.

Wide range of trick play facilities (zoom, pan, subtitle & multi-angle view)

For a good budget multiregion player you can't go wrong with a wharfy!!!

OK its got Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS outputs on the back. Suppoorts scart and s-video connections. Plays Mp3s Video Cds and plays all region disks. Features excellent picture and excellent sound. The colour is black and the player is easy to manage and control. It looks like a budget player but do not let that undermine how great a machine it actually is!

Sorry but I couldn't buy this product unless you told me something about the features etc.
