I bought the Wharfedale on recommendation from my parents, and have not regretted it since. Not only does it look nice, but it plays like a dream. And, bargain of the century, it will play region 1 as well as RCE encoded!. As I buy most of my DVD's from the states (I collect rare horror), having a multi-region DVD player was a must, and I was most pleased with this one. I cannot fault it's user friendliness, easy to use menus and doofer; or it's sleek looks. I have never had any problems with discs not playing, except Gladiator, but I don't count that as everyone had probs with disc 2! At only £180, i would recommend it to anyone!
