Toshiba RD 88DTKTB ... bought this Toshiba DVD recorder a couple of months ago for the bedroom. We already had a recorder downstairs (a Sony RDR-HXD710) but we thought we needed another one to allow simultaneous recordings in case we wanted to record two programmes at the same time, as it sometimes happens. We didn t want to spend too much money on the second recorder (the Sony had cost us in excess of £500) so we ordered this cheaper model online from Comet for under £200. As soon as we opened the box, I could tell that the build quality was nowhere near as good as our Sony. It just feels cheaply made and less sturdy. Philips DVDR3450H ... philips dvdr3450h is very usefull , i lked t very mush , because i can wathes tv when i whant because t also have an hard drive. when i come home late , i can whathes tv programs that i have been miss. thanks philips fore this gread product ,and t also have a gread sound out put .I can also play any cd ore dvd on this unit , i can also copy my favrote tv program on cd to make an collection, yes philips t is very,very uesfull. I tell my uncle about this dvdr3450h hou usefull this is , becouse he is a very busy man and he miss a lot off tv programs when he is working , than he bought one so that he can copy tv programs that he is missing while he is working. philip... Sony RDR-HXD995B ... ve all heard of Sky+ , the digital satellite tuner which allows you to pause and rewind live TV - but did you know that Freeview offer a similar service in the form of Freeview+ ? Unlike Sky+ where there is only one box to choose from (well, technically two if you include Sky+ HD ), Freeview+ can be accessed by a wide variety of set top boxes made by a number of manufacturers, as long as they display the Freeview+ logo on the front.
