Samsung DVD HR750 ... love this Samsung DVD recorder. It has a massive 160Gb hard drive so you can record alot on this product. Unfortunatley with the digital switchover in 2010 this product will be worthless because the reception is an Analogue tuner and will not receive digital channels. It has Progressive scan and DVD-RAM recording format. It also has 2 Scart sockets. The item is easy to use and isn t too big or bulky. It slips in nicly along with my other appliances by the tv. You can play DVD s and CD s in the product . Unfortunatley it doesn t have a Memory card slot and the Basic scart lead isn t included. It comes with a Remote control. Sony RDR-HX750B ... Sony RDR-HX750B is an all singing, all dancing DVD and hard drive recorder at an amazing price. The 160 GB hard drive offers up to a massive 455 hours of recording time and DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW discs can all be recorded on and high-speed dubbing means you can quickly record from the hard drive straight to DVD. It almost goes without saying as this is a Sony product but the recording and playback quality are utterly top notch. In addition, it has an HDMI output with 1080p upscaling which is just stunning and really gets the most out of your DVD collection. Panasonic Diga DMR-EX77EG-S ... Panasonic DMR-EX77 range are quite nice little DVD recorders and hard disk recorders with a few features that are hard to access. If you want full specs, have a look at some supplier details, these are my experiences: This does have freeview built in and on connecting it to an ariel the the box quickly scans for freeview signals. Even the programme guide is on in a few minutes (this is a list of all the programmes for each channel and shows approximately one weeks worth of future schedules).
