This is a great product and a great price for what you get. Ive had no problems writing, recording or playing dvd/tv programs. It's packed with features and has got a large hard disc.

In the box it came with all the cables needed, no need to buy an extra scart. It also includes a DVD+RW disc. It's very easy to set up and has got a great and easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface). You can also copy dvd's to the hard drive but you can't record them to a disc, unless they aren't copy protected. You can also put loads of mp3's on to the hard disk.

It writes discs at 4x speed, which it doesn't state in the manual or box. It also has a handy video editor so you can cut out annoying adverts in the middle of films. The quality is very poor if you want to fit 198 hours of video to the hard disk.

Overall, this is a great product and a good value for money. However not having a freeview tuner is a dissapointment and slow writing speeds. I think this is the best product on the market at the moment.

Summary: Great value for money but no freeview and slow writing speeds.
