... !) The whirring from the 5002 is loud enough to hear over a program,,,,, & even more so when it is recording whilst the TV is off ! My wife says that it even gives her a headache ! 2/ The machine often fails to record. This occurs both when using PDC & none PDC programming. Sometimes it will record for a few minutes, then for no reason that I can see, just stops ! I returned it to LiteOn, who said that they can’t hear the whirring (!!!) so I assume that it is a standard noise with their stuff, & that their ears automatically switch off to. ... is a great product and a great price for what you get. Ive had no problems writing, recording or playing dvd/tv programs. It s packed with features and has got a large hard disc. In the box it came with all the cables needed, no need to buy an extra scart. It also includes a DVD+RW disc. It s very easy to set up and has got a great and easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface). You can also copy dvd s to the hard drive but you can t record them to a disc, unless they aren t copy protected. You can also put loads of mp3 s on to the hard disk.
