I started having problems with this unit about 2 months after I bought it. It kept freezeing up on playback, and I would have to tun off the the unit and restart the disk to play again. I would take too long for the unit to read a disc and determine that there even was one in the tray. Eventually I started having trouble with the tray opening. I would have to turn the unit off/on many times before I could get the tray to open up to insert a disc. As it stands now the tray is totally hung up in the closed position and the unit is totally useless. This player is a cheapo Device that I got from a Store from the dixonx group for Only £179.99. And you can tell why as soon as you get the machine powered up. The drive tray drags across the case of the machine when you open and close the drawer. once the disk does get in the machine. It takes what seems a life-time to read the disk. Once the disk is ready you have to mess about selecting the input source just to get the Built in tv channel tuner to work. It does not remember the last mode. There is no real tv recording feature like Video plus ( maybe to keeps cost to a min ) you have to tell the recorder what time the program starts and then how long ... Read the complete review
