Bought this about a year ago. It's a very good machine. The integrated tv guide makes setting up recordings very easy. A disappointment was that although it can read movies off an SD card, it can't write them to it. I'd hoped to use this to move recordings onto another hard disk attached to my computer.
At the time of purchase, this I believe was the best value and featured recorder of its type.
Editing programme names and making other changes is a pain because you obviously lack a mouse and keyboard.
If I was to look for something similar today, I'd seriously consider buying a Mac mini with EyeTV. I've subsequently bought EyeTV for my iMac and it means you can record digital TV on your Mac. Once recordings are on your Mac, it's much easier to edit. You can also easily add hard disk space. A Mac mini and EyeTV would cost you perhaps £250 more but essentially you'd get a real computer with iTunes, email and Internet for that difference.
