It s a very modern model and can be bundled with a Home Cinema System/Home Theater System. That is how I got mine. PLAYING Playing a DVD is the same as any DVD player. You can also play CDs (MP3 CDs I m not so sure) with complete ease. The picture is very clear and works perfectly with surround sound. It has a very clear panel with view of format (v=DVD Video, R=DVD-R, RAM= DVD-RAM), chapter and time of either chapter or whole feature time. Until you ve used this feature you won t realise just how cool and liberating this is. The unit supports multiple disc formats and as you would expect utilises Videoplus+. Is it easy to use? I trundled off to my local branch of Comet, located in Shrewsbury to be exact, and had a meander around the aisles, attempting to look as if I knew what I was looking for. I had noticed an item labelled as if to infer some sort of pecuniary advantage if I were to undertake the purchase of the aforementioned item (I think the exact words were special offer ), which in fact was a Panasonic DVD Recorder. As I had long been a fan of Panasonic products, ranging from a radio cassette player that lasted 17 years to a vacuum player that gave out after 15 years dutiful sucking (to my carpets, I might add).
